A Royal Visit (June 3rd, 2pm-Semi-Open)

[Princess Eirlys]

Eirlys was very excited. Her parents had extended an invitation to the Moon to have Serenity come over (probably with some buards or her mom), and the invitation had been accepted, so now the princess was cleaning up her somewhat messy room, and arranging eerything just right. Her current metal creatures were all nicely lined up on a shelf, and she even made her bed!

Still in her Pjs as she hadn't had much to do in the way of lessons due to the invitation being accepted, Eirlys hurried to her massive closet, and looked her clothes over. She didn't want to go with her princess gown, it was far too formal, but her normal outfits were too out there as well with the steampunk look she generally went for. Pursing her lips, Eirlys gave an annoyed huff, what in the world was she going to wear? The decision was killing her.

"Gaaahhh...I have nothing to wear." She groaned, raking her hand through her hair slightly as she paced like a tiger in front of her closet. Finally, she decided on something a little different. Putting on a white cap sleeve shirt, she put her dark blue corset with the black breast covers over top that, then mused over her skirts, tapping a bare foot.

"OH! I know!" Grabbing an ice blue skirt that stopped just above her ankles, she tossed it onto her bed and threw on a pair of black nylons, then put her skirt on. Mulling over her shoes, the princess of Mercury finally decided on a pair of knee-length dark brown boots. Piling her hair up into a half ponytail, she used a simple hair tie this time, then put on her ice blue earrings and her white choker with the sapphire on it. Looking herself over, Eirlys frowned, then applied a bit of makeup. All set! Hurrying towards the throne room, she sat down near her mother, waiting the arrival of the Moon royals.

Serenity found herself continuously fascinated by the world outside the Moon Kingdom, although she thanked her mother for raising her, she always felt as though it was never enough.The books inside the library could only hold her for so long. But today she was finally going to change everything, she was finally going to make a huge move. She was going to visit Mercury, not only had she gotten an invitation, it gave her a reason to start her travelers' log. She wanted to fill her library with info on every planet that visited, she hoped to visit more and see more. But for now she was going to take her time, she was going to look at everything she could on Mercury. She'd already spoken to her mother about the invite so she didn't question anything, so it was simply just getting there. However, she felt as though maybe her formal dress wasn't exactly appropriate for the occasion. It wasn't a diplomatic meeting or anything, Princess Eirlys simply invited her over. Maybe it was more so a play date? No that sounded far too childish.

"I know! It's a get-together! We get together and talk! That is a far better explanation that my original theory on it."

She said to herself as she looked through her closet for clothing, she knew she was already late but she had to pick something. What she wore would affect how she felt while taking a tour of the planet, along with how she interacted with everyone. But she knew regardless of what the visit was, she was representing the Lunar Kingdom constantly. Even if she wanted to drown herself in books, she was always being watched, judged no matter where she went. So, simply put this outfit was important and she was going to pick a good one. "So...let's see..." She tapped her chin as she pulled out a pair of silver slippers, she refused to wear heels while walking.

Her hair was in its usual odango bun style, her right wrist had a pearled bracelet on it. She wore dangling crescent moon earrings and her nails were patined pink. She wore a much thinner, losing the second layer, unlike her formal attire. It was still white in color, but without the diamonds and pearls all around her. The bottom was still quite ruffled, and her back bow was gone. Her shoulders were more exposed than normal and she wore a pearl necklace. She looked at herself one final time in the mirror before nodding in approval, she finally went to her door and with her two guards went off. It took time, but she was able to make it to Mercury and on time as well, luckily she didn't take too much time on her appearance.

Once she reached Mercury, Serenity found herself in complete awe, she was completely consumed by its the structure and just how different it was from the Moon Kingdom. She wanted to be on her own to look around but knew simply leaving Princess Eirlys alone, would be quite rude. She took a little bit of extra time to look around but within a moderately okay timeline, she was able to find her way to the palace. The guards stationed there led her down a long hallway till they all reached the throne room, Serenity nodded at the guards as they opened the doors. Serenity walked into the room with a smile on her face, curtseying both at the royal family.

"It is an honor to be in your presence your majesty's. I would like to formally apologize for my mother, Queen Serenity's absence, she had business to attend to. However, I am here in her place and as a representation of the Moon Kingdom. Thank you for having me here today."
